National Day of Prayer

Join us in Veteran’s Park (at the amphitheater) on May 2nd @ 6:30pm for the 73rd Annual National Day of Prayer. Be our guest as we sing and pray for our great nation and its leaders!

Each year, on the first Thursday of May, people across the United States join in prayer for our nation. May we stand together as believers, and pray for God to heal our land; strengthen His people; for all those in authority; and for many to see the power of our Lord as never before. At this important time in our nation’s history, we can do nothing more important than pray.

This year’s theme verse is 2 Samuel 22:29-31:
For thou art my lamp, O LORD: And the LORD will lighten my darkness. For by thee I have run through a troop: By my God have I leaped over a wall. As for God, his way is perfect; The word of the LORD is tried: He is a buckler to all them that trust in him.

We will have resources available as well as guest speakers, wonderful music and a time of sincere prayer. Everyone is invited to join us and admission is free. Invite your friends and family to join in as well.
